Founded in 1965 as 'Strintzis Lines' by the Strintzis family of Kefalonia, today, Blue Star Ferries is the biggest ferry company in Greece. Most Blue Star Ferries ships are large cruise ferries that accommodate many passengers and vehicles and offer a huge variety of facilities to provide you with an unparalleled sailing experience. The current fleet consists of 12 ships.

Blue Star Ferries offer connections to and from Piraeus in Athens, the Cyclades, the Dodecanese, the North Aegean Islands and Crete. There are significantly more sailings in the summer months with many islands having a morning and evening ferry arrival.

Αγενέστατο προσωπικό, ειδικά στη ρεσεψιόν. Καμια εξυπηρέτηση-διευκολυνση ειδικά προς τους επαγγελματίες οδηγούς λεωφορείων. 50 άτομα ηταν το group που εφερα στο δρομολόγιο Πειραιας-Σαντορινη-Πειραιας, και σαν οδηγός λεωφορείου δεν μου έδωσαν ούτε κρεβάτι. Μέσα στο πλοίο δεν υπήρχε ούτε καρέκλα. Και μετά από 8 ώρες ταξίδι να πρέπει να κάνεις και 500 χιλιόμετρα...

Απαράδεκτοι οι υπάλληλοι στην reception. Υπεράριθμοι επιβάτες που δεν είχαν ούτε καρέκλα να κάτσουν , οπότε λογικό να υπάρχει γενικός εκνευρισμός . Απο Μυτιλήνη για Πειραιά. Ειχα να κάνω αυτό το ταξίδι περίπου 22 χρόνια. Πριν πήγαινα κάθε χρόνο για 12 χρόνια. Κι ας ηταν παλιά τα καράβια, τέτοιο χαλί ποτέ.

Excellent service and courtesy. I traveled with Delos to Santorini island. Very comfortable, steady and fast ship even when it is a bit windy. State-of-the-art and by far the best to travel in Cyclades
