Fourni

Hook of Holland

  • There are 5 different museums in such a tiny area.
  • The Saam restaurant offers a lot of different options to try the famous Dutch pancakes.
  • Visit the Maeslantkering, the impressive steel barrier constructed to prevent floodings, as the Netherlands is built below sea level.
  • Het Vispaleis translates to "The Fish Palace" and you can find a lot of different fish options here.

Hydra

  • Visit the museums: the Historical Archives Museum, the Ecclesiastical Museum & the Kountouriotis Mansion
  • Buy some medicine at Rafalia’s Pharmacy: a piece of functioning history built in 1890
  • Explore the cobbled back streets of Hydra town and stop for a Greek coffee
  • Take a water taxi (boats and schedules can be found in town) to some exquisite beaches. Hydra doesn't have big beaches but has very clear waters. Try Bisti and St. Nikolaos beaches for a slice of paradise

Igoumenitsa

  • Igoumenitsa is famous for the beaches, the two largest being Drepano and Makrigialos
  • Igoumenitsa is a very popular destination. During the summer you can organize day trips to the tiny neighboring islands of Paxi and Antipaxi
  • You can also enjoy diving and watersports on the beaches of Perdika and Parga
  • You can have an one day excursion in the mountains of Souli and visit the springs of the Acheron river

Ios

Iraklia

  • If you like hiking, Iraklia is the best place! There are 8 trails that are very small so you can meet them in one day
