Barcelona port facilities

Barcelona is the leading port in Europe and the Mediterranean and has seven international passenger terminals located on the Adossat quay and the Barcelona quay. They all have a wide range of services for cruise passengers and ships and are equipped with the highest security measures and highly qualified personnel. short-term parking is available at the A-D terminals, but no long-term parking is available.

Getting to and from the port

By car

The way to the ferry departure areas is well signposted. Whether coming from the north, west or east, head for the B10 motorway, the Ronda del Litoral. This leads past the beach directly to the ferry port. From the north, the A2 becomes B10 as soon as the highway reaches the urban area. From the west, the C-32 crosses the A2/B-10 on the outskirts. Coming from the east, take the C-32, which turns into C-31 or B-20 in the city area. Take the C-31, which later crosses the B-10. If you have accidentally taken the B-20, that's no issue: it also crosses the B-10 motorway.

By Bus

The ferry terminals offer the T-3 Portbus shuttle bus service, which connects with bus lines D20, H14, V11, V13, 21, 59 and 120, and with the metro (Drassanes station, L3).

By Train

The rail services connecting the port and its surroundings with the rest of the country run to Port-Bou (France) through Mataró and Granollers; to Puigcerdá (France); to the centre, west and north of the country, via Manresa-Lleida, San Vicente-Lleida, Tarragona-Zaragoza; and to the west, south and east of the country, via Tarragona-Valencia.

By Taxi

There are taxis available at the passenger terminal. The rates are based on weekend, weekday and day/night rates. Luggage costs a surcharge and there is a surcharge for the port and the airport zone. The current taxi rates and surcharges are visible in each taxi. For the trip from the airport to the port you have to expect about 25-30 euros, depending on luggage and time of day.
