The small harbor of Mathraki is located near Plaka, the primary settlement, in the top northeast of the island. Mathraki is the smallest among the Diapontia Islands with just 3,1 square kilometers and lies 36 nautical miles from Corfu.

The journey duration, including the stopover at Erikoussa, is 3 hours and 20 minutes. There are almost no tourist facilities as the number of visitors who spend their holidays in Mathraki is very small. Most tourists come from Corfu for the day, or are campers looking for totally remote places. You can find a restaurant with nice traditional cuisine near the port though. You will have to travel around Mathraki on foot.

Passengers traveling with a pet should hold their pet’s health documents and are responsible for the pet’s safety and hygiene. Unaccompanied pets cannot travel.
You can take your bike with you for free or for a small extra fee like 10 euros, if you travel on large ships. However, on ships without a garage, bicycles are normally not allowed inside.
