Cairnryan port facilities

The port operates Monday to Sunday from 06:00-22:00 and has available toilets, baby changing facilities, a passenger lounge, a coffee shop, vending machines, free Wi-Fi, disability assistance, short and long-term car parks (payable), and disabled toilets.

At the village you can find a shop and a couple of B&B’s. Within easy reach of Cairnryan, there are some hotels, and guest houses, as well as shops, cafes, restaurants, and petrol stations.

Getting to and from the port

By car

The port is approximately a 1-hour drive to Ayr, 2 hours to Glasgow, and 3 hours to Edinburgh. There is a large payable car park with over 300 spaces in front of the terminal building with large spaces for blue badge holders.

By Bus

Coach connections are available on selected sailings to and from Glasgow, Edinburgh and other destinations for passengers who have pre-booked an Express coach ticket.
