Cherbourg port facilities

Cafeteria, bar, money exchange office, disabled facilities, disabled toilets on the ground floor of the terminal, showers, baby changing room, souvenir shop, a credit card payphone and phone card payphones, and a tourist information office.

Free and payable car parking is available at the port.

Dogs are allowed out of the vehicle in the port area provided that they are on a lead and muzzled. There is a small grassed area outside the terminal.

Getting to and from the port

By car

When driving to the port of Cherbourg take the N13 to Caen and then the D900 and D901 routes which bisect Cherbourg. The fastest route from the south is the N13 which terminates at the roundabout outside the port. The port is signposted on major routes in English and French.

By Taxi

Taxis are generally available at the port. If not, taxis are available upon request.

By Train

The train station is a five-minute drive from the port and offers great connections to multiple destinations across France. Paris is 3 hours 30 minutes away from Cherbourg by train.
