Olbia port facilities

Inside the passengers station you can find a bar, a tobacco products shop, ticket offices, an Infopoint and safe luggage storage. It is located close to the civic port and served by the port shuttle service.

There is also a 24/7 emergency first aid service in the passenger terminal during the summer season.

Getting to and from the port

By car

The port is connected to the West (Sassari - Porto Torres) via the SS597/SS729 (125 km), to the South to the city of Oristano via the E25 (180 km) and to the city of Cagliari via E25 (about 276 km).

By Bus

There is a free shuttle bus service within the port area, reserved for passengers who have to embark or disembark from ferries. The service connects the passenger station with the docking points for ferries. The shuttle starts before the departure of each ferry and up to the complete disembarkation of the arriving passengers. There are urban buses managed by ASPO company and also extra-urban buses managed by ARST company. The ASPO urban bus Nr. 9 connects the port with the railway station.

By Train

The train station is located at Corso Umberto 1 and is connected by bus nr. 9 which departs from the port square. The main connections from Olbia are Sassari with around 8 departures per day and Oristano / Cagliari with 6 departures per day. You can see the routes online here.

By Taxi

There are taxis available at the port, however we recommend you book one beforehand calling the phone in the Useful Numbers section below.

On Foot

Olbia is an accessible city where it is easy to get around and there are many nice locations to explore on foot.
