With three ships, Saos Ferries is based in the city of Alexandroupolis in Thraki (Thrace) and operates in Dodecanese and Cyclades islands with a schedule of frequent sailings.

Their comfortable ferries offer a pleasant and safe voyage to passengers and two of them, Saonisos and Stavros, also have garages for vehicles (cars, motorbikes and quad bikes).

On board, the helpful and polite crew ensures that all travelers will get the best possible service. Small family-run businesses have this advantage and Saos Ferries is no exception.

Saos Ferries was established in 1975 by residents of the island of Samothraki and is named after the island's biggest mountain (Mt. Saos).

After offering only routes to and from Samothraki and the Sporades for many years, today, Saos Ferries also connects the popular islands of Dodecanese and the Cyclades.

The company currently owns a fleet comprising two ferries, namely Stavros and Saonisos, and a small fast ferry: Zefyros. Saos Ferries acquired another ship in 2023, another fast craft Nissos, which is expected from Spain and will join the company's fleet in the summer.
